About
The New Berlin Volunteer Fire Department in Texas was founded in 1972
and organized around the mission of Neighbors Helping Neighbors. The
Department and the community have significantly changed over the years,
but the mission remains the same.
New Berlin Fire and Rescue remains a 100% volunteer organization.
New Berlin Fire and Rescue plays a critical role in ensuring public safety
and protecting property from the devastating effects of fires in rural areas of
Guadalupe County. Additionally, NBFR are the first responders for all local
emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes, drug overdoses, automobile
accidents, flooding, and dozens of other urgent situations.
Through training and hard work, the volunteers of the NBFR stand ready to
help our neighbors and our community.
